Mom and Ali made it to Davis! We had an enjoyable afternoon -- ate dinner at Steve's Pizza, did a little grocery and clothes shopping at Target, and ate tasty treats (like the popsicle pictured above) and talked about my thesis project, body image and women, and women's rights through the ages. So much fun!Ali stole my hat... I told her it was fine as long as she'd let me take a picture. For those of you who know, doesn't she look quite a bit like Emily here? Crazy! Especially her eyes... Ah, sisters! I love 'em!
Tomorrow we are going to Santa Cruz, Alameda Island, and Berkeley!
