Emily Henderson, the Post-Mormon Design Star

I'm catching up on Design Star and just found out in the Kitchen Model episode that Emily is an Ex-Mormon (or Post-Mormon, as I prefer). She talked about how she became a stylist in part due to her industrious, LDS background.
I've said it before and I'll certainly say it again, but I am proud of my LDS pioneer heritage. The women in my family are or were strong, industrious, and bright. In polygamous households, with the men off serving missions, the women had to be incredibly creative and resourceful to support each other and their children. I like to believe that those traits run in my blood.
I hope Emily wins. I enjoy her designs. See her blog here.
